Biography
Baranov Rudolf Nikolaevich
Born in 1942, in the village Hvostova, Vladimirskaya region.
In 1964 he graduated from the Palekh art school of lacquer miniature named after Maksim Gorky;
In 1971 — Moscow state art Institute named after V. I. Surikov, faculty of monumental painting (Professor K. A. Tutevol).
During his studies at the University he worked in the Vakhtangov theater, helped on stage.
In 1971 he came to Samara city.
Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1976
In 1981 – 1985, and also in 1998 – 2010 — the Chairman of Board of the Samara Regional organization of the all-Russian creative public organization "Union of artists of Russia".
He taught at the Kuibyshev art school (Samara);
He taught from 1983 – 2008 at the art school named after K. S. Petrov-Vodkin (Samara);
In 2006 – 2011 - Professor of Samara state University of architecture and construction.
Well-known muralist, painter. Works in the genre of thematic paintings, portraits and landscapes.
Personal exhibitions were held in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara), China, Europe (Italy, Germany, France, Bulgaria), in Ukraine and other countries.
Participant of regional, national, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. The works are in galleries and in many private collections of admirers of the artist's talent in our country and abroad.
